A Refreshing Summer Salad

SUMMERsalad

Ingredients:
– Fresh shrimps (5/6 pieces) | Petites crevettes roses (environ 5/6 morceaux)
– 1 Avocado | 1 Avocat
– Feta cheese | Feta
– Cherry tomatoes | Tomates cerises
– 1 Radish | 1 Radis
– 2 Surimi sticks | 2 Batons de Surimi
2 French pickles | 2 Petits cornichons

How to Make the Salad:
Make sure your shrimps are already cooked. Cut everything except the shrimps into small pieces and just mix everything together. Add the sauce of your choice. I personally chose to add an olive oil vinaigrette sauce to preserve the original taste of the fresh shrimps. If you are allergic/don’t like shrimps just replace them by pieces of chicken or turkey!

Here’s an easy DIY recipe to make delicious classic margaritas at home for all your friends. I’ve always used this recipe whenever I decide to make some. And what taste better than a Martha Stewart recipe! ^^ :)

Ingredients*

  • 1/2 cup coarse salt
  • 1/2 cup (about 4 limes) freshly squeezed lime juice, plus 1 lime cut in half for the glasses
  • 2 tablespoons (about 1 lemon) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup triple sec
  • 1 cup white tequila

Directions

  1. Pour the salt onto a small plate. Rub the outside rim of each glass with the cut lime. Dip each glass into the reserved salt; set aside.

  2. Place lime juice, lemon juice, triple sec, and 3 cups ice in a blender, and puree on low speed until completely blended. Add tequila and blend for 2 seconds. Pour margaritas into the reserved glasses, over ice, and serve immediately.

* This recipe serves 6

What will you be doing for Cinco de Mayo? Celebrating at home with friends? Going out? Making homemade guac? Yum!
