Si vous aimez les oeufs, c’est l’endroit parfait pour un brunch sur Paris! J’ai trouvé ce resto par hasard et je n’ai pas été déçue! Les serveurs sont sympa, le brunch est bon et l’endroit est plutôt petit mais mignon et chaleureux. Le brunch est environ à 25€ et comprend un jus d’orange, un café/thé/chocolat, les oeufs de votre choix accompagnés de pommes de terre et de salade et pour finir un énorme pancake et une petite salade de fruits. Croyez-moi, après tout ça vous ne risquez plus d’avoir faim! Perso, j’ai pris le Norvégien (oeufs Bénédicte au saumon) et c’était délicieux! J’y retournerais avec plaisir! Par contre, l’endroit est petit donc si vous venez à plus de 2, je vous conseille de venir tôt ou de réserver à l’avance. Dites-moi ce que vous en pensez si vous y aller ;)

If you love eggs, this is the perfect brunch spot for you! I randomly found this restaurant and what a great find! Friendly staff, good food and pretty/cozy interior. Brunch is around 25€ and includes orange juice, coffee/tea/chocolate, eggs of your choice with potatoes and salad on the side and a large pancake with a small fruit salad. Trust me, that’s a lot of food! I personally had the Norvegian which is eggs benedict with salmon and it was delicious. I will definitely be back! However, this place is pretty tiny so I recommend arriving early or make a reservation if you are more than 2 people. Let me know what you think if you eat there ;)

What to eat: The food is quite traditional but what’s best about this place is the terrace where you can eat lunch or brunch during the summer days.

Le Comptoir Général: an Eclectic “Ghetto Art” House

Situated next to the Canal St. Martin, Le Comptoir Général is quite an eclectic restaurant/bar/vintage art house where you can lounge for hours on couches and sit on school chairs, sipping on a cocktail, fresh juices or coffee. A low lit and vintage ambiance, chandeliers, red velvet carpets, dusty pictures of african and french presidents hanging on the walls, school chalkboards, the space is absolutely astonishing!

Le Comptoir Général, qui se trouve juste à coté du Canal St Martin, est un resto/bar/maison des curiosités ou vous pouvez passer des heures avachis dans des fauteuils ou assis sur des chaises d’école, tout en sirotant un cocktail, jus de fruits ou encore un café. Ambiance vintage tamisée, chandeliers, tapis de velours rouges, photos de présidents africains et français poussiéreuses accrochées aux murs, tableaux d’école en ardoise; l’endroit est dément!

It’s like entering a NYC big loft in the heart of Paris. But its concept is a bit different from anything you’ve seen before: clothes, jewelry, home accessories and furniture, but also a cute little library where you can sit down and sip on a detox tea and eat scones!

The place is a little pricey but if you want to be a typical parisian bobo for a day, this is the place to be! Also, all benefits are donated to a charity: Les Enfants de Madagascar.

Y aller, c’est comme entrer dans un grand loft New Yorkais en plein centre de Paris. Le concept est différent de tout ce que vous avez pu voir auparavant: vêtements, bijoux, décor maison et autres accessoires, mais aussi une petite bibliothèque ou vous pouvez vous assoir et siroter un thé détox et manger des scones!

L’endroit est un peu cher mais si vous voulez ressembler au typique bobo parisien pour la journée, vous êtes au bon endroit! Egalement, tous les bénéfices de la boutique sont reversés à une association: Les Enfants de Madagascar.
