Marc Jacobs in Talks to Succeed John Galliano at Dior

The French house is still void of a creative leader, but that may change very soon!

After months of rumors and speculation, it is being reported by WWD that Marc Jacobs is in “talks to succeed John Galliano at Christian Dior“.

His contract at Louis Vuitton is ending and, before renewing, LVMH is said to be vetting him for the Christian Dior job. If this happens, his business partner Robert Duffy, who works with him at his own label and Louis Vuitton, would go with him. The vacancy at Vuitton would then possibly be filled by Céline’s current Creative Director Pheobe Philo.

Stay tuned for confirmations!
